ADW to Showcase High-Performance Vortex Flow Sensors at SENSOR+TEST 2026

2026.05.27

From June 9 - 11, 2026, ADW will present its latest intelligent sensing technologies at SENSOR+TEST 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany - one of the world’s leading exhibitions for sensor, testing, and measurement technologies. At Booth 1-521, ADW will showcase several core products, with its high-performance vortex flow sensor serving as one of the key highlights.

The vortex flow sensor is based on the classic Kármán vortex street principle. By precisely detecting the stable vortex frequencies generated when fluid flows past a bluff body, and combining advanced fluid dynamics models with intelligent signal processing algorithms, the sensor enables real-time and stable measurement of complex media, including high-flow, high-velocity, and high-viscosity cooling liquids.

ADW’s latest vortex flow sensor has been comprehensively optimized for industrial integration and long-term operational reliability, making it especially suitable for demanding applications such as industrial cooling circulation systems, hydraulic equipment, and chemical process monitoring.

Key Features and Advantages

Excellent Resistance to Air Bubbles and Impurities

The sensor maintains highly stable measurement performance even in media containing air bubbles or fine solid impurities, significantly reducing false alarms and signal fluctuations.

Modular Design with Ultra-Low Pressure Loss

Its compact modular structure supports flexible system integration while minimizing pressure loss during fluid transmission, contributing to improved energy efficiency.

High Measurement Accuracy

The sensor achieves instantaneous flow measurement accuracy up to ±2% F.S., meeting the stringent precision requirements of industrial process control systems.

Simultaneous Flow and Temperature Monitoring

An optional integrated temperature sensor enables real-time dual-parameter output for both flow and temperature, simplifying system architecture and wiring complexity.

Intelligent Communication and Industrial Protection

The sensor is equipped with a standard RS-485 communication interface for seamless integration into industrial bus networks.

Additional industrial-grade protections include:

  • IP65 protection rating

  • EMC Class A compliance

These features ensure stable long-term operation in harsh industrial environments with electromagnetic interference, humidity, and dust exposure.

Advanced Flow Measurement Solutions for Industrial Intelligence

ADW remains committed to empowering industrial intelligence through advanced sensing technologies. The vortex flow sensor showcased at SENSOR+TEST 2026 demonstrates the company’s extensive expertise in flow measurement and control while providing global customers with an optimized solution balancing performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
